Practice

Practical training is a central component of the program and is closely linked to the academic and pedagogical content.

School Practicum: The school practicum is a central component of the program from the very beginning: As early as the first semester, you’ll gain experience through internships and teaching practice at schools. Step by step, you’ll progress from helping to design individual lesson sequences to teaching independently. Throughout this process, you’ll be guided by experienced practicing teachers at our partner schools. The continuous integration of theory and practice helps you apply academic concepts specifically to real-world teaching situations and further develop your professional skills.

Professional Experience: Relevant business experience is also a central part of the program. It provides insights into business processes and economic relationships—an important foundation for practical, action-oriented instruction in vocational education. The professional practicum lasts a total of 30 weeks. Relevant practical experience already completed may be recognized under certain conditions.
